Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Rain Adapt LLC ("Raindar," "we," "us," or "our"), a New York limited liability company. By accessing or using raindar.live or any Raindar service (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Service Description

Raindar is a read-only platform health monitoring tool for Meta advertisers. It aggregates anonymized performance metrics from consenting advertisers to detect cohort-level anomalies in Meta advertising delivery. The Service helps advertisers distinguish between platform-wide issues and account-specific problems.

The public dashboard (cohort-level status) is free and requires no account. Account-specific alerts require creating a Raindar account and connecting a Meta Ads account via OAuth.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Raindar, you represent that you meet this requirement. You also represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of any business whose Meta Ads account you connect to the Service.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@raindar.live if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.

5. Meta OAuth Authorization

By connecting your Meta Ads account, you authorize Raindar to access your account data as described in our Privacy Policy via the Meta Marketing API (ads_read and read_insights permissions only). You confirm that:

  • You have the authority to grant this access for the connected ad account(s).
  • Your use of the integration complies with Meta's Platform Terms and any applicable advertiser policies.

You can revoke access at any time via Raindar's settings or directly through Facebook's App Settings. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data upon revocation.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to de-anonymize cohort data or identify individual advertisers from public dashboard information.
  • Use the Service to gain competitive intelligence on specific other advertisers.
  • Access or attempt to access another user's account or data.
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically download Service data beyond normal use.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or infrastructure.
  • Use the Service in violation of Meta's Platform Terms or any applicable law or regulation.
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide third-party access to the Service without our written permission.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.

7. Accuracy Disclaimer

Raindar's anomaly detection is statistical and probabilistic. It is intended as a diagnostic aid, not a definitive determination of Meta platform status. We make no guarantee that:

  • All platform issues will be detected or surfaced.
  • All alerts reflect actual platform problems (false positives may occur).
  • Cohort data is complete or representative of all Meta advertisers.
  • The Service will be available without interruption.

Do not make material business decisions — such as pausing campaigns, reallocating significant budget, or making representations to clients — based solely on Raindar signals without independent verification.

8. Paid Tiers and Billing

The public dashboard is free. Account-specific features may require a paid subscription, with pricing displayed on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Unless stated otherwise:

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
  • You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
  • Refunds are at our discretion except where required by applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the dashboard interface, anomaly detection methodology, and underlying software, is owned by Rain Adapt LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any intellectual property rights in the Service.

You retain all rights to your own advertising data. By connecting your Meta Ads account, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT ANOMALY DETECTION RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RAIN ADAPT LLC'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

IN NO EVENT SHALL RAIN ADAPT LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rain Adapt LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third party's rights, including Meta's Platform Terms; or (d) your advertising data or business practices.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time:

  • You may close your account at any time via account settings or by emailing hello@raindar.live.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms, upon 30 days' notice for non-breach reasons, or immediately if required to comply with law or to protect the integrity of the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and we will handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections 9–15 survive termination.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Albany County, New York, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

15. General

  • Entire agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Rain Adapt LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
  • No waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Changes: We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you by email and post updated Terms at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
